590mm Follower Plate ø50mm Shank

The 590mm Follower Plate Ø50mm Shank is designed for use with drum-mounted grease pumps fitted with a 50 mm shank. It supports consistent grease delivery by maintaining direct contact with the product inside large-capacity drums.

The plate fits drums with an internal diameter range of 540–580 mm and is suitable for 180–220 kg drum applications. As grease is dispensed, the pump creates a vacuum effect that draws the follower plate downward. This maintains continuous pressure on the grease, helping feed it directly into the pump and reducing the formation of air pockets.

The follower plate also scrapes residual grease from the drum walls, improving product usage and reducing waste. It performs especially well in low-temperature conditions and with high-viscosity greases where product flow becomes more difficult.
