A low-strength threadlocker specifically designed for the locking and sealing of small fasteners, particularly those up to 6.35 mm in diameter. This versatile sealant is ideal for applications requiring easy disassembly with standard hand tools while still preventing loosening due to shock and vibration. Its low-strength formulation makes it particularly suitable for adjustment screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws, as well as for use on components made from low-strength metals such as aluminum or brass.

LOCTITE® 222 can perform on a wide range of metal surfaces without the need for a primer, including passive substrates like stainless steel, aluminum, and plated finishes. It cures effectively even through light coatings of corrosion prevention oils, minimizing preparation work and ensuring efficiency.

• Apply a small bead of the threadlocker to the threads of the fastener.
• Assemble the parts and allow the adhesive to cure. Fixture time may vary based on environmental conditions, but full strength is typically achieved within 24 hours.
• Easily disassemble using standard hand tools when necessary.
