TERMS AND CONDITIONS – FLUIDTRANS ONLINE
Effective Date: 25 February 2025
Fluidtrans Online is owned and operated by Industrial Fluid Solutions Pty (Ltd) (Reg No: 2017/4733788/07) and Fluidtrans Pty (Ltd) (Reg No: 2018/297616/07) (hereinafter referred to as “Fluidtrans Online,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through Fluidtrans Online and comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
Effective immediately, our website operates strictly on a quotation basis. Online orders are no longer accepted. Instead, customers must submit a Quote Request through our website.
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1. By using this website and purchasing from us, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or the Website at any time.
1.3. All prices are shown and/or quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are inclusive of 15% VAT.
1.4. Images and pricing errors may occur, and we will correct them as soon as reasonably possible. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order.
1.5. We may introduce new features, modify existing features, or discontinue services or products at our sole discretion without prior notice. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge and accept this.
1.6. You may stop using the Website at any time without prior notification to us. Your decision to discontinue use will not impact your stored details or future access to the Website.
2. ORDERS & PAYMENTS
2.1. No order is considered confirmed until a formal quote is approved and payment terms are agreed upon.
2.2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
2.3. If orders from accepted quote requests are not paid within 7 days, the order will be cancelled.
2.4. When paying via Direct Deposit Proof of payment (POP) must be emailed to sales.support@ifsworld.co.za & accounts@ifsworld.co.za
3. ONLINE QUOTATION SYSTEM
3.1. Prices are valid for a period of 7 days from the date of quotation.
3.2. Prices are subject to Rand (ZAR) vs. Dollar (USD) exchange rate fluctuation in excess of 3% from that determined on the date of quotation.
3.3. If quotations are accepted, our sales team must be informed via email at sales.support@ifsworld.co.za.
4. PRODUCT IMAGES, REPRESENTATION AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
4.1. We have made a reasonable effort to display the images, descriptions, and specifications of the Products on the Website as accurately as possible. However, the actual Product delivered may be subject to variations in appearance and packaging, which is out of our control.
4.2. Upon collection of the Product, you will be required to verify the nature and quantity of the Products. You will need to sign documentation confirming receipt of the Products, and this will serve as proof that you have inspected and are satisfied with the Products.
4.3. Images of Products may include additional items that are sold separately. You will need to place an additional order for such items.
5. PRODUCT PRICING & AVAILABILITY
5.1. The prices of our Products are subject to change without notice.
5.2. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product without notice at any time. We are not liable for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of any Product.
5.3. Lead time depends on stock availability.
5.4. If stock is available, orders will be prepared for collection on the same day, provided that payment is validated/received before 14:00.
5.5. If the product is out of stock, please allow up to 7 – 10 working days for manufacturing and/or delivery to our warehouse.
5.6. Most products that are not kept in stock will be clearly indicated as such on the product’s page, along with the expected lead time. If a product is out of stock and no lead time is indicated on the product page, Fluidtrans Online will not be held liable for any delays. However, we will inform the client of the lead time as soon as possible once we are made aware of it.
5.7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances causing a delay, Fluidtrans Online will contact you via email to provide a revised order date.
6. PRODUCT REVIEWS
6.1. By submitting any reviews on the website, you agree to the following:
6.1.1. You understand that you are participating in a public forum, and any content or personal information you choose to submit may be available to other users, the community, and third-party websites.
6.1.2. We may contact you to obtain further information from you in order to improve our Products
6.1.3. When submitting a review, you agree that all reviews are honest, accurate, and original. You confirm that you are of legal age and are indeed the user of the Product(s).
6.1.4. We do not publish reviews for Products that have not been purchased directly from us.
6.1.5. Fluidtrans Online reserves the right to monitor or take any of the following actions regarding your review(s):
6.1.5.1. We may edit your review without changing its original meaning (i.e., we may correct any spelling or grammar issues).
6.1.5.2 At our sole discretion, we may amend or delete any reviews deemed obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, harmful, abusive, harassing, or that contains child pornography, religious or racial slurs, or threatens or encourages bodily harm, or violates any person’s personality rights.
7. DELIVERY & COLLECTION
7.1. Delivery timelines will be communicated via our sales team during the order process.
7.2. If necessary, a separate shipping quote may be provided.
7.3. The customer is responsible for collection of all products, including oils, grease, cleaning products, and specialised application products.
7.4. All orders must be collected within 7 days from our Witbank office: 18 Arnhem Crescent, Die Heuwel Industrial, eMalahleni, 1035.
7.5. Customers must confirm collection with our sales team at sales.support@ifsworld.co.za.
8. CANCELLATION
8.1. If you wish to cancel an order for any reason, you can do so by contacting our Sales Team via email at sales.support@ifsworld.co.za. The email must be sent from the email address you used to register on the Website, and your order number should be clearly stated in the email.
8.2. You may only cancel orders before they are dispatched. Once the order has been dispatched, you will be responsible for the courier fee. Additionally, if your order includes a personalized packaging request and you wish to cancel, you will be liable for any associated packaging fees.
8.3. If you fail to follow the proper cancellation process and cancel your payment for any reason, or if your payment method becomes invalid, you will still be obligated to pay the full purchase price, including any costs we incur related to that purchase.
9. RETURNS, REFUNDS & WARRANTIES
9.1. Returns & Refunds:
9.1.1. Customers may return products within 7 days of delivery if they are unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition.
9.1.2. Refunds are processed once the returned item has been inspected.
9.1.3. Refunds may be subject to 10% handling/restocking fees.
9.1.4. No returns will be accepted for liquids unless there is a defect or incorrect item received.
9.2. Warranty & Liability:
9.2.1. Parts will not be covered under warranty unless installed by an Industrial Fluid Solutions in-house technician.
9.2.2. Warranties on generators, pumps, and automatic lubrication systems are only valid if installed by a qualified electrician and/or technician registered with the Department of Labour, who must provide a valid Certificate of Compliance (CoC) where applicable.
9.2.3. We are not liable for damages due to incorrect installation, negligence, or misuse.
10. RISK AND OWNERSHIP
10.1. Ownership of all products remains with Fluidtrans Online until full payment has been received and cleared.
10.2. Risk in the products passes to the customer upon collection or upon dispatch for delivery. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage once the products leave our premises.
10.3. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are properly transported and installed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and applicable regulations.
11. CUSTOMER DATA & PRIVACY
11.1. Customer personal data is protected under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
11.2. By using this website, customers consent to the use of their personal data for order processing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
11.3. Cookies are used to enhance user experience and track website analytics. Users can manage cookie preferences in their browser settings.
12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
12.1 In an attempt to provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other third-party websites or resources.
12.2. Third-party links on this Website may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or validity of these third-party websites.
12.3. We have no control over third-party websites, and you agree that we are not responsible or liable for any content, information, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites. 13. USAGE RESTRICTIONS
13.1. You may not use the Website or its contents for the following:
13.1.1. Illegal, unlawful or immoral purposes or as prohibited by these Terms.
13.1.2. To violate any international, federal, national laws, rules, and/or regulations.
13.1.3. To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.
13.1.4. To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Website.
13.1.5.To violate any person’s privacy or collect/track the personal information of others.
13.1.6. To infringe the intellectual property rights (for example, copyright or trademarks) or other proprietary rights of others.
13.1.7. To deceive or mislead any person.Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or any other network through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
13.2. You may not frame the Website in any way without our prior written permission.
13.3. Should you engage in any of the above practices, we are entitled to terminate your use of the Website and its services. This termination may occur without notice, and you are held liable for any costs incurred as a result of your misconduct.

14.2. Errors may occur in specs listed and products sold, which are never intentional and usually result from manufacturing changes outside of Fluidtrans Online’s knowledge. We are not responsible or held liable for such errors; however, we will do our best to avoid such occurrences. Should such an error occur, please email your queries to sales.support@ifsworld.co.za. Fluidtrans Online does not take responsibility for technical glitches or technical errors beyond its control (errors or glitches relating to the Website servers or digital functionality). We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
14.3. Whilst we take the necessary precautions regarding the operation of the Website, neither we nor our agents/representatives are responsible or liable for any loss, liability, injury, expense, or damage suffered by any person who accesses, uses, or relies on the Website and any of its content.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
15.1. All intellectual property rights including copyright, content, trademarks, logos, and images which form part of the Website are owned by or a licensing agreement has been made with Fluidtrans Online.
16. MONITORING YOUR COMMUNICATIONS
16.1. We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. You agree to permit us to intercept, read, disclose, and use all communications you send or post to us or the Website.
16.2. We have the right to block, filter, and/or delete any communications between you and the Website. Errors may occur in specs listed and product sold, this is never intentional and usually occurs due to manufacturing changes outside of Fluidtrans Online’s knowledge. We are not responsible or held liable for such errors, however, we will do our best to avoid such occurrences. Should such an error occur, please email your queries to sales.support@ifsworld.co.za.
