AB Breather Kit 1″NPTF Adapter, 12″ length and 1/2″ Stainless Steel tube

Designed to enhance the functionality of the breather port, providing a comprehensive solution for maintaining fluid systems while keeping them closed and protected. This kit allows for the integration of multiple features in one convenient setup, improving fluid management efficiency and system protection. Mount a desiccant breather, a fill port, a filter minder, sampling tube and a return vent line while maintaining a closed system. Combined with the AD Mount for a complete fluid maintenance system.

Features:

• The AB Mount will fit into most standard filler ports. This makes it a versatile option for a wide range of equipment and fluid systems. Whether you’re working with a gearbox, hydraulic reservoir, or another fluid-containing system, the AB Mount easily adapts for installation.
• You can choose between a desiccant breather or a filtered breather. Both options are designed to reduce pressure on system seals. They do so by allowing air to escape while preventing contaminants, from entering the system.
  • The desiccant breather actively absorbs moisture from incoming air, helping to keep the system dry and preventing issues like rust or oxidation.
  • The filtered breather removes particles from the air, protecting the system from dirt and dust without adding moisture control.
• The vent or gauge port is a versatile addition that allows for easy monitoring of the system’s fluid level without exposing it to outside air. By adding a level gauge, you can monitor fluid levels without breaking the system’s closed environment, maintaining both accuracy and cleanliness. This port helps prevent the introduction of air and contaminants, keeping the system running smoothly.
• The flow tube included in the kit helps reduce the negative effects of turbulent fluid flow and minimizes foaming, which can degrade fluid quality and interfere with accurate level readings. This feature ensures smoother fluid movement and better system performance over time.

Additional Integration and Options

• For a fully integrated fluid management solution, the AB Breather Kit can be combined with the AD Mount. This combination optimizes both the breather port and the drain port. This covers sampling, filtration, and monitoring from both ends of the system.
• Together, the AB and AD Mounts provide a complete fluid maintenance system that supports efficient fluid sampling, filtration, and level monitoring while keeping the system sealed and protected from outside contaminants.
• If the AB Breather Kit isn’t being used in conjunction with the AD Drain Mount, there’s the option to add a High Flow Sampling Valve. This allows for easy fluid sampling through the breather port, adding even more functionality to the system. This valve enables fast and efficient sampling without needing to disrupt the system or expose it to outside elements.
