The Gedore 8pc VDE Tool Set is for professional electricians and technicians, providing essential tools with VDE insulation for maximum safety when working with electrical systems up to 1000V. Each tool in this set is individually tested according to EN 60900 and IEC 60900 standards. Thus ensuring reliable, high-quality performance in demanding electrical applications.

VDE Insulated Tools

• VDE Voltage Tester: Perfect for checking 220-250V AC circuits. Featuring a nickel-plated blade with fully insulated construction, this tester ensures safe and accurate measurements.
• VDE Power Combination Pliers (180 mm): These pliers feature sleeve insulation and are for heavy continuous use. They provide excellent lever action and induction-hardened precision cutting edges (62 – 64 HRC), making them ideal for cutting all wire types, including piano wire (1.6mm). Serrated gripping faces ensure a secure hold, reducing effort by 35%. The high-performance pliers are made from GEDORE special hardened steel and chrome-plated for long-lasting durability.
• VDE Bent Nose Telephone Pliers (200 mm): Featuring long, flat-round jaws and serrated gripping faces, these pliers are ideal for holding, bending, and cutting tasks. With precision induction-hardened edges (61 – 63 HRC), they are for both fine detail work and tough applications. The VDE insulation ensures safety up to 1000V.
• VDE Side Cutters (160 mm): These side cutters have a slender head, making them ideal for confined spaces. Their induction-hardened cutting edges (63 – 65 HRC) are perfect for precise, clean cuts in electrical wiring. The handles have insulated sleeves for up to 1000V protection.

VDE Screwdrivers

The set includes 4 screwdrivers, each with 3-component Power-Grip³ handles:

• 4 mm and 5.5 mm VDE Screwdrivers: These screwdrivers feature fully insulated blades for safe use up to 1000V. The ergonomic handle shape allows for precise, non-tiring work.
• Cross Recess PH 1 and PH 2 VDE Screwdrivers: Ideal for Phillips screws, these tools provide excellent power transmission through their positive connection between the handle and blade. The galvanized molybdenum-vanadium steel blades ensure durability and optimal strength.

Convenient Storage

All tools come in a GEDORE i-BOXX® 72, featuring a transparent cover for easy access and a quick overview of your tools. The box dimensions are W 367 x D 316 x H 72 mm, making it easy to carry and store.
